Marco Asensio contract at Real Madrid to feature €500m release clause

Despite reported interest from Arsenal, Marco Asensio is set to receive a salary increase when he signs a new contract with Real Madrid, going from €3.5m-a-season to €4.5m after-tax. The new contract will also include a €500m (£458.6m) release clause and will run to 2023. (Marca)
